Michael Norman

My name is Michael Norman. I am a New York City-based actor originally from Boca Raton, Florida. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre at the Manhattan School of Music. My training focuses on both classical and contemporary musical theatre styles, with an emphasis on truthful storytelling and bringing characters fully to life on stage.

I have had multiple opportunities to work on new works with Broadway composers and lyricists. Most recently, I recorded the original demo for a new musical, The House on Watch Hill, by Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor, best known for their hit musical Bandstand. I also had the opportunity to join the national tour of A Christmas Story The Musical in 2019, playing Ralphie.

As a performer, I am focused on building a career in musical theatre across Broadway, national tours, regional stages, and new works. I am particularly drawn to character-driven storytelling and contemporary musical comedy, though I also remain enthusiastic about classic and contemporary repertoire, especially Sondheim.
